The Carrigatogher interchange consists of a simple Dumb-bell type interchange with two roundabouts located either side of the existing bridge over the Nenagh Bypass (OB 278). This proposal reuses the existing overbridge. This junction allows traffic movements in all directions with merge and diverge ramps to both the north and south of the junction. The Carrigatogher interchange is designed to provide the link between the proposed N7 carriageway, the Nenagh Bypass and the existing N7. It also restores a connection to a local road – Plunkett Street.
